Welcome! This website is for descendants of Bernard Randolph 1556-1628. The main source for this website is Ten Generations of Randolph written by William Frederick Herbert Randolph.

 

At the end of the book he says that "I have now accomplished what I set out to do - that is to give some account of the descendants of Bernard Randolph of Biddenden... I have taken the trouble because I believe that it is an aid to good living to have pride in one's family and to know something about those who, bearing its name, maintained its reputation in the past... We can claim for it (the Family) that it has been a moral force in the past, contributing its quota to the sum total of those qualities which go to make up the English character."

 

He finishes with "I also make this request, that if it continue, some member in each generation will take the trouble to see that it is registered at the College of Arms."

 

Hence I have created this website so that we can update the information for future generations. There are a number of inaccuracies in the information I have and of course the family is ever increasing. Please therefore spread the website to all members of your family and encourage them to email me with any updates.
